How Important Is Surfing?

If you want free web-traffic to your business opportunity, you'll need to surf, because as you surf, you meet prospects and or partners in chat, messaging, or tools shared in surf. You want to be interactive with the traffic resources you share. It's great being able to meet others and get to know the people they know. You want to let them see you; and the evidence that you are in surf. To this day I see Jon Olsen in the surf of his own TE's and marketing tools. Being present is critical. We can learn to enjoy it, with a full, honest effort.

I have been at this for many years; and I never took the time to keep going and to let something grow in the soil of solidarity and consistency, regarding content creation, interactive listbuilding and earning affiliate commissions. If you always leave the ship on auto-pilot, you're gonna sink the titanic every time. My problem was I felt like if I hadn't learned everything about how the gurus do it, that I can't earn money and that just IS NOT TRUE.

I remember the firt time I sold a Bookmarking Demon, as an affiliate. I surfed and surfed and made a sale. I couldn't believe it, so I surfed all day and sold another one, bearing out a full $90 in commissions; but I didn't even think to draw attention to it. I didn't think to tell the others, whom I'd met out there, by making a blog post and throwing it into the surf of the upgraded accounts in my favorite, competitive traffic exchanges. But you know what would happen to me? I would see something shiny and forget ALL ABOUT the sales I had made and how I should have told others.

Now there is the matter of those TE's sometimes sabotoging you, so that you don't get as big as them. You gotta keep surfing and sell tools while you're coming to terms with what the future of your business will actually be. You need to make money, you deserve it and if you can get good at it, like the business partner I am blessed to tell others about, then you're on your way. So to be fair, I had to have someone show me it could be done, to REALLY "just go" and not stop.
